There’s Nothing to Do on Mars

Copper’s G-Daddy bought him this book at City Lights Bookstore in San Francisco. It tells the story of Davey Martin and the adventures he has on Mars with his dog. The illustrations resemble turn-of-the-century woodcuts saturated with warm colors. Amazingly, a VW bus shows up there (another of Copper’s daddy’s favorite things). The endpapers are entertaining as well.
